Hey oo!
Well I have started my new assignment in Daban and I am loving it! We are busy busy everyday but I love it. I am learning lots and I am having great experiences. My new companions name is Elder Binene. He is from DRC as well and is a good guy. We are doing well together. We live in a 4 man apartment with our office elders. Let me tell you it has been so nice sleeping with AC. There are definitely some perks being here. I took my first warm shower since I have been in Ghana when I got here. Haha I haven't had a water heater in any of my apartments, until now. I have the opportunity to be able to drive. Driving out here is actually pretty fun but kinda sketch. There aren't any rules on the road, and no speed limit. It's kinda just every man for himself and you just have to survive haha. But I am enjoying driving.
My new area is great, we live in the city but we recently started a group in one of our villages. So we live in the city but Hey oo!

My new area is great, we live in the city but we recently started a group in one of our villages. So we live in the city but proselyte in the Bush. We drive about 30-45 minutes to get to our group. We just started this group about a month ago and so the church is still very new in this area. We pretty much do everything at church haha. One of the bishopric comes with us to preside half the time and then half the time our Bishop gives us permission to preside. Me and my companion give talks every Sunday and teach Sunday school every Sunday. We bless the Sacrament as well haha. It is teaching me lots, and I know part of the reason the Lord moved me to this area was for this experience. To be able to have the opportunity to lead and really start the church in this village, and to lead in a new way. We have some great members in this group and are finding a lot of people. I absolutely love the people of Ghana. I am going to miss them so much, there is just something about them. They are so loving and friendly. Just so different than people living in America. This is when I feel the most joy on mission, when I am out with the people.
We had a neat miracle that happened. On Saturday we go with one of our members proselyting. She is such a faithful woman and it helps because she speaks twi. So we normally go around and just talk with everyone. We stopped at one of her friends houses and she was inside. She was sick and had been sick for a couple days. She couldn't walk because her legs were paining her. We sat down with her and started to talk about Jesus Christ and his Gospel. We then answered some of her questions and invited her to attend church with us. She told us that she hasn't been able to walk for a couple days and that if God permits her to have the strength to go, that she would come. Well Sunday came and we got to church and we saw her sitting in one of the chairs with our member. She stayed for Sacrament Meeting and for Sunday School, and after church we talked with her. She told us again that for a couple days she wasn't able to walk and she wasn't able to sleep. But as soon as we came and we met with her and left, that night was the first night she was able to sleep well. She slept so good that she even had the strength to walk. And she knew that it was because we had met with her. She knew that she needed to come to church because God had blessed her. It was such a sweet moment. We gave her a blessing and helped her walk back home. God truly does answer our prayers, and I am so grateful for the miracles I am able to witness to build my testimony. She is one of the elect that God prepared for us.
We have a busy transfer ahead of us. This week we are in our area but next week we start traveling for zone conferences. So for two weeks we won't be in Daban we will go again to all the mission. We have exchanges with our zone leaders and are staying very busy. We sent off some missionaries this week and so we drove them to the airport. There is a lot more responsibility that we have but it is making the time fly by! President told me I'll be here until May so he told me to get comfortable haha. I am loving it.
That's just a bit about what I am up to and I hope you all are doing great. I hope you are enjoying the fall weather. We are getting into dry season and so it is getting very very hot out here. I'm jealous you guys are enjoying the weather back home. Thank you all for the love and support it means a lot. Keep up the good work
Love Elder Morgan.
