The Work is Picking Up

Hello everyone!

We had another solid week this last week. We switched up how we are teaching and the work is starting to pick up and so we are excited about that. We taught quite a bit this week, and through our new teaching efforts, we found a family that hasn't been in the church for a while and they have a son who turns 9 in two weeks. His name is Aiden, and he wants to be baptized! We are going to start teaching him on Sunday.

We went on exchanges this week with the zone leaders! They are both studs, I went out with Elder Smith and Elder Kline went with Elder Hall. Smith and I were in my area, and didn't have much planned. We went on an inspired walk to the most north part of my mission. I love the scenery in Utah, the mountains are awesome. We got to talk about goals and how my area was doing. It was nice bouncing off ideas with him, on how we can do better in our area.

This week has been such good weather! It has been like 70 all week and it's supposed to get cold this coming week. On Friday it drops to the 50's and a low of like 20 something degrees. We may have a chance of snow this weekend! So we are all getting out our warmer clothes to prepare but we will see how it goes.

Nothing else really happened this week, but I'm just excited the work has been picking up. It definitely makes it easier to get through the days when you are busy. This coming week we are gonna stay busy and so I'm excited for that. We also have zone conference! We are combining with the Bountiful Zone so I'll get to see my MTC companion. But I'll let you know how zone conference goes next week!

I hope you are all doing well and continue to be safe. It's so nice getting emails from all yall! I hope you all have a great week this week. Love you guys

Almost done with training..time is flying by!

Hello everyone!

I had another great week this past week, nothing to new happened. We are still teaching a whole lot of members. We switched up our teaching style so we will hopefully start to see some progress in our wards. I don't know if I mentioned this last week or not but two of our elders in our district got put in another district. So we went from 6 elders to 4 elders in our district. We are now just with the elders that live in our house, so it's fun.

Today for Pday we are going to Oceanmart so we can make sushi! I made some bread this morning and really we are just hanging out today. Next week we have interviews with President Call, and we are going on exchanges with the zone leaders so it is gonna be a fun week. It's crazy that I am already half way through the 2 transfer. So I only have 3 weeks left till I am out of training. Hope you all are doing well! Love you all

Conference Weekend

 Hello everyone!!

Conference weekend was so good! I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did. We aren't aloud to go to members houses so we as a house went to the church for conference and set up the projector. We moved the couches out into the gym, so it was fun! We all got some conference snacks and elder Stumpf made us a pie on saturday and cinnamon rolls on sunday so we had a good weekend. I absolutely loved Elder Hollands talk and Elder Nelson's. My favorite quote from conference was something that Elder Holland said. "Christianity is comforting, but is often not comfortable. The path to holiness and happiness here and hereafter is a long and sometimes rocky one. It takes time and tenacity to walk it. But, of course, the reward for doing so is monumental." The church/gospel doesn't take away our trials but simply makes them bareable. They make it so we can feel peace and comfort through the hard times. But I want to hear what you guys thought about conference!

Other then that we had a solid week this week, still teaching a lot of member lessons and our friend Sousen. Hopefully we will have more lessons this upcoming week.

I hope you all had a great week, and a great conference weekend. Love you guys

Shots and Conferences

Hello everyone!

We had another great week, we started it off by going to the doctors tuesday morning. I had to get my yellow fever shot, just incase I get to go to Africa. It was just the one shot, so it wasn't bad. So I am now all vaccinated and ready to go to Africa, whenever I get the word. We had a mission wide conference this week. Elder Walter Gonzalas and his wife joined us. Elder Gonzalas has spoken in conference a couple times, and he is awesome. I learned so much, hearing from him and his wife. It was a two day conference via zoom on Thursday morning and Friday afternoon. We got to go to the church building as a house and watch the conference on the TV so it was fun.

We are looking forward to this week, as we are going to be pretty busy with service, lessons and General Conference! We as a house are stoked for conference, we are going to do the same thing and go to the church and pull it up on a TV. If you guys are free, join in and watch! It is going to be so good, I'm looking forward to hearing from our modern day prophet and apostles. I'm ready for the direction and Inspiration this weekend. You guys can join in and watch online! Make time to watch it, you won't regret it

I hope you all are doing well, I hope you guys have a great week! Email me if you wanna chat!
